The pierced decorated claw setting displays a central feature 1.02ct Old European round cut diamond flanked on either side by a 0.33ct and 0.35ct Old European round cut diamond.
The diamonds have been re-claw set to a substantial platinum mount, in keeping with the pieces original appearance.
The elevated, pierced decorated 22ct yellow gold ring shoulders integrate with the platinum setting and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank.
The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the maker's mark (W.W.LD), the date letter for 1876 (A), the gold guarantee mark (crown), 22ct gold fineness mark (22) and the London Assay Office hallmark (leopard's head).
