1.79ct Diamond and 9ct Yellow Gold Pendant / Brooch - Antique Circa 1880

Description

This stunning, fine and impressive antique diamond pendant has been crafted in 9ct yellow gold with silver settings.

The necklace displays a feature 0.25 ct Old European cut diamond collet set to the centre of the intricate interconnected ribbon design.

The arrangement has been accented with ten, individually displayed old round cut collet set diamonds.

The floral design features a further thirty-three pavé set Old European cut and Dutch cut diamonds, totalling 1.54 ct.

The necklace is suspended from a 40.64/19" 18ct yellow gold and platinum fine link trace chain which secures to the reverse via a conventional spring ring.

This impressive Victorian pendant/brooch is fitted to the original leatherette hinged presentation case, securing with a push fit catch.

There is a slight depression to the presentation case, in keeping with age and wear.

The velvet and satin lined interior displays the retailer's mark 'Mallory & Son, Bridge Street, Bath, Also at St Bonds Street'.

This original antique necklace is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate for the feature stone in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting diamonds.

The necklace has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9ct yellow gold, silver and platinum.
