These fine and impressive antique engraved cufflinks have been crafted in 15 ct rose gold.

Each link has an oval form, embellished with a crisp, bright engraved decoration.

One side is embellished with a contemporary engraved crest depicting a demi lion holding between its paws a barred saltire, all above the motto 'Animo et fide' - With resolution and fidelity.

The other bears the contemporary engraved initials 'FTN'.

The cufflinks articulate via a five link chain to the reverse, the cenral link hallmarked with the 15 ct gold fineness mark (625) and '15'.

The cufflinks are hallmarked to the posterior face with the 15 ct gold fineness mark (15.625), the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (anchor), the date letter for 1904 (e), and the maker's mark.

These impressive antique cufflinks are fine quality and a very good gauge of gold with a sharp, bright engraved decoration.

The cufflinks are in original condition with surface marks in keeping with age, which may be professionally polished if required.
