2.30ct Diamond and 14ct White Gold, Platinum Set Brooch - Antique Circa 1920

Description

This stunning, fine and impressive antique pearl and diamond brooch has been crafted in 14ct white gold with a platinum setting, and a 9ct white gold pin.

The pierced and millegrain decorated, scrolling design is ornamented with a central 6.78mm pearl.

The central pearl is flanked on either side by a feature collet set 0.55ct and 0.52ct Old European round cut diamond.

The bead decorated setting is embellished with a further fifty-eight pavé and collet set diamonds, in a combination of Old European round cuts and eight-cuts.

The platinum set brooch secures to the reverse with a 9ct white gold hinged pin and push fit clasp.

The brooch is fitted to a red leatherette and blue satin and velvet lined push fit presentation case, the lid bearing the retailer's name 'MACGREGOR Jeweller Perth, By special appointment by her majesty the Queen'.

This antique pearl and diamond brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 14ct and 9ct white gold with a platinum setting.

The brooch is supplied with two independent diamond grading certificates for the feature diamonds, in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting diamonds and pearl.
