This fine and impressive antique brooch has been crafted in 9ct yellow gold.

The brooch has been modelled in the form of a stylised bird.

The bird is ornamented with a claw set blue cabochon dyed quartz.

The eye of the bird is represented by a claw set 0.03ct round faceted cut hessonite garnet.

This antique gemstone bird brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp fastening, with the additional benefit of a safety chain.

The reverse of the setting is hallmarked with the 9ct gold mark (9C^T).
