This stunning, fine and impressive D colour diamond engagement ring has been crafted in platinum.
The contemporary pierced decorated setting displays a feature vintage (1978) 0.20ct modern brilliant round cut diamond, colour graded at D and clarity graded at VVS1.
The elevated, tapering ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank.
The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the contemporary shank with the maker's mark (HM), the platinum fineness mark (950) and the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (anchor).
The ring is supplied with the original diamond grading report provided by the London Diamond Exchange in addition to the original bank invoice, both dated July 1973.
The original invoice states a price of £8,892, the equivalent in today's market of approximately £95,000.
This D colour diamond engagement ring is also supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate.
