3.18ct Opal and 0.63ct Diamond, 18ct Yellow Gold Pendant - Vintage 1982

Description

This fine and impressive vintage opal pendant has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with an 18ct white gold setting.

The rectangular setting displays a feature collet set 3.18ct opal panel.

The opal pendant is flanked to the upper and lower borders with a total of six individually four claw set modern brilliant round cut diamonds.

The pendant suspends from a 15" belcher style chain, securing with a conventional spring loaded bolt ring fastening.

The pendant is hallmarked to the reverse with the maker's mark 'CJW', gold guarantee mark (crown), the 18ct gold fineness mark (750), the London Assay Office hallmark (leopard's head) and the date letter for 1982 (H).

The clasp is also hallmarked with the gold guarantee and fineness marks (crown 750).

This impressive vintage opal pendant in gold is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
