This stunning, fine and impressive gemstone brooch has been crafted in platinum.
The brooch has a pierced decorated form resembling a floral bouquet tied with a ribbon pavé set with eight-cut diamonds.
The 'stems' are ornamented throughout the design with individually claw set Old European round cut diamonds of various sizes.
The spray of flowers is further accented with an old round cut natural garnet, a round mixed cut natural blue sapphire and an old round cut natural emerald, all individually four claw set as flowers.
The platinum 'ribbon' detail is clearly hallmarked to the reverse with the platinum mark (Pt 950).
This impressive example of vintage jewellery secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clipped latch fixture.
This flower brooch is supplied with four independent diamond grading report cards.
"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
