Each Art Deco brooch features a splayed eight-stranded design, each terminating with an impressive individually four claw set transitional modern brilliant cut diamond.
The lower portion of each strand array displays an enveloping and scrolling ribbon design, ornamented with twenty pavé set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
This versatile brooch may be separated into two individual brooches via a double-ended push fit clip.
The brooches secure to the reverse via hinged double pins and push fit fastenings; the pins bear the platinum fineness hallmark (950).
This diamond double clip brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
NOTE: The duette (or double clip) style brooch increased in popularity in the first half of the twentieth century; they flourished during the Art Deco and Art Nouveau movements due to the use of symmetry of organic designs.
