This stunning, fine and impressive vintage opal ring has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold with an 18 ct white gold setting.

The pierced decorated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and join the shank at a subtle cuff design.
The cast gold shank has a naturalistic bark effect.
The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the maker's mark 'GRIMA', and the 18 ct gold fineness mark (750).
This impressive vintage opal ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
NOTE:
The brand 'Grima', created by Andrew Grima revolutionised jewellery in the early 1960's. By the mid 1960's he was the Royal and society jeweller of the day.
Grima is recognised as one of the great jewellery designers of the 20th Century. His work can be viewed in the collections of Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths, and at the Victoria & Albert Museum.
Today, a limited collection of twenty to thirty pieces is crafted each year, due to the unique skill required to make these pieces.
This stunning, fine and impressive Grima opal and diamond cocktail ring is therefore a highly collectable and extremely rare item of jewellery.
