Description


This exceptional antique Edwardian English 9ct gold vesta case has a plain rectangular rounded form.


The surface of the vesta is plain and embellished with the contemporary engraved initials 'A.M' to one side.


This piece is fitted with a hinged cover, with a plain thumbpiece and ring loop attachment to the side.


There is an integrated serrated panel/match striker to the underside.

This antique 9ct gold vesta case is an exceptional gauge of gold for its type, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The engraved initials are very crisp.

Full hallmarks struck to the rim of body are all very clear.
