Agate and 18 ct Yellow Gold Dress Ring - Antique 1920

Description

This fine and impressive antique agate ring has been crafted in 18 ct gold.

The substantial, yet low profile ring mount is ornamented with a feature collet set banded agate* cabochon to the centre of the design.

The flared ring shoulders are accented with a subtly raised, angular design which merges seamlessly in to the hallmarked ring shank.

The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the gold guarantee mark (crown), the 18 ct gold fineness mark (18), the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (anchor) and the date letter for 1920 (V).

This antique agate ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

Due to the nature of the design, this versatile ring may be worn by either ladies or gents.

NOTE* There is a strong probability the agate is a 'Botswana agate' due to the nature of the banding.

This impressive 1920s dress ring is fine quality set with a banded agate cabochon.

The ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with a clear set of hallmarks to the interior of the shank.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of antique jewellery/estate jewelry.
