The pieces of this exceptional vintage American sterling silver flatware set for six persons have been crafted in the Old Brocade pattern*.

The anterior surface of each handle is embellished with engraved overlapping floral motifs accented with an elongated plain stepped design to either side.

The posterior surface of each handle is plain and unembellished, apart from the original knives which feature further engraved decoration

The pieces of this impressive flatware service, including the original knives, were crafted by the American silversmiths Towle Silversmiths.

The steel blade to each knife bears the mark 'Stainless'.

These impressive examples of vintage silverware are supplied in felt cutlery rolls; which not only protect the items in storage but significantly reduces tarnishing.

* This Towle Silversmiths flatware pattern was designed by Harold E Nock, patented in 1932 and produced between 1932 - 1996.

This vintage 6 place sterling silver flatware set is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

Each piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

The bright cut engraved decoration is very crisp.

The American hallmarks struck to the reverse surface of each handle are all very clear.
