Carved Jade and 5.86ct Diamond, 18ct White Gold Pendant - Vintage Circa 1950

Description

This stunning, fine and impressive vintage pendant has been crafted in 18 carat white gold.

The circular pierced decorated frame is ornamented with an impressive panel of stunning carved nephrite jade, depicting floral and foliate motifs with a Chinese emblem to the centre.

The border of the impressive vintage oriental pendant is embellished with a total of sixty-four claw set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds.

The diamond and jade pendant is suspended from a 18ct white gold trace chain via a ring loop attachment ornamented with four further pavé set diamonds; this piece would benefit from a greater gauge of chain.

The stunning pendant secures with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening.

The impressive vintage pendant is hallmarked to the reverse of the setting with the French maker's mark and mark for 18ct gold (eagle's head).

This impressive vintage jade pendant necklace is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card, in addition to a 'jade report' certificate from The Gem and Pearl Laboratory Limited, 43 Kirby Street, London.
