These exceptional antique Chinese export silver (CES) candlesticks have a cylindrical shaped column to a circular base.

The upper portion of each candlestick is encircled with a band of applied moulded decoration and fitted with hallmarked detachable push fit sconces.

The column of each candlestick is embellished with embossed and pierced decoration depicting an iconic oriental dragon amidst clouds, incorporating a tear shaped vacant cartouche to one side.

These dragon candlesticks have plateaued circular bases encircled with further embossed decoration reflecting the same design as the columns, all on a matte background.

The Chinese silver base of each candlestick sits to an impressive and original carved hard wood stand, securing to the underside with a screw fitment.

The hallmarks to the sconce of these Chinese candlesticks include:

Maker's mark: HC (Hung Chong & Company)

Character maker: Untraced
