This exceptional antique Chinese export silver tea kettle has a plain circular rounded form onto a plain collet foot.
The surface of this spirit kettle on stand is embellished with an impressive embossed and chased iconic oriental undulating dragon design.
The upper rim of the kettle is encircled with a band of bamboo stalk ornamentation.
Either side of the kettle is ornamented with two plain silver dowel style pegs, allowing the kettle to sit securely on the stand.
This silver spirit kettle is fitted with a plain hinged hallmarked cover surmounted with the original silver finial modelled in the form of a bamboo stalk.
This Chinese silver teapot is fitted with hinged angular handle and swan necked spout, influenced with further bamboo ornamentation.
The kettle detaches from the original silver stand ornamented wotj bamboo stalk decorated posts and braces.
The stand incorporates plain scrolling frame incorporating the original hallmarked spirit burner with integrated hinged snuffer.
