This fine and impressive vintage gold brooch has been crafted in 9ct yellow and rose gold.

The brooch has been modelled in the form of a goose in flight.

The brooch has a textured decoration to imitate feathers.

The head of the goose is embellished with a dark blue and white enamel decoration.

The underwings of the 9ct rose gold brooch are crafted in 9ct yellow gold, as are the feet.

The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp fastening.

The reverse of the brooch is hallmarked with the 9ct gold fineness mark (9.375), the Birmingham assay office mark (anchor), the date letter for 1956 (g) and the maker's mark for John Grinsell & Sons (JG&S).

The brooch is also struck to the reverse of the wings with the 9ct gold fineness mark (9.375).

Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.
