Enamel and Sterling Silver Pendant - Antique 1907

This fine and impressive Art Nouveau pendant has been crafted in sterling silver.

The pendant has an iconic pierced decorated Art Nouveau sinuous design, embellished with three hand-painted enamel panels in shades of green and blue.

An enamel decorated, shaped drop suspends from the lower border of the design.

The pendant suspends from a sterling silver belcher chain, 17.5" in length, via a shaped ring loop attachment to the upper border, also accented with enamel decoration.

The chain secures with a conventional spring loaded bolt ring fastening, which is struck with the sterling silver fineness mark (925).

The reverse of the pendant is hallmarked with the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (anchor), the sterling silver mark (lion passant) and the date letter for 1907 (h), the maker's mark is worn and illegible.
