This fine antique 18th century silver beaker has a plain cylindrical, tapering form.


The surface of this antique beaker is embellished with bands of tooled decoration.


This antique beaker retains the original gilded interior.


The base of the German silver beaker retains the silversmith's centre punch mark.


The hallmarks struck to the underside of this impressive cup include:

Maker's mark: MB (untraced)

City mark: Augsburg, Germany

Assay scrape: Zickzack line (Tremolierstrich)

This fine antique beaker is an exceptional gauge of silver and exceptional quality for its type.
