This exceptional antique German silver and glass table / cruet set consists of a bon bon dish, pair of salts and a mustard pot.
The impressive bon bon dish has an oval shaped form, incorporating the original cut glass vessel.
Either side of the body is fitted with an impressive spiralling handles accented with embossed leaf decorated thumbpieces and rams head designs to the lower terminals.
The glass body is supported by a collet rim to an exceptional embossed pedestal realistically modelled in the form of a swan, with its wings extended.
This swan ornament surmounts a swept oval base, encompassed with pierced leaf designs, in addition to square motifs to the lower collet style rim.
Each salt has a circular form and features a central circular cut glass receptacle.
The glass portion of each salt sits to a pierced decorated receiver accented with embossed bands of bead decoration, supported by a three further swan designs conjoined at the wings.
The plateaued circular foot of each salt is encircled with an embossed fluted decorated border to the rounded rim.
The mustard pot has a circular rounded form and is supported with an collet style rim and embossed swan decorated pedestal.
The exceptional cut glass body is fitted with a fluted decorated mount to the upper rim and retains the original domed hinged cover.
The plain silver cover is surmounted with an embossed finial realistically modelled in the form of a cockerel / rooster.
One side of the mustard pot is fitted with an exceptional embossed swan decorated handle, accented with a fluted leaf design to the handpiece.
The circular foot reflects the same style as that to the salts.
The cover to the mustard pot retains the original gilded interior.
This exceptional example of antique silverware retains the original mustard spoon, comprised of an opposing scrolling stem and cockerel design to the terminal.
The cut glass vessels to the bon bon dish and salts are each ornamented with hobnail decoration to the body, accented with an undulating fan style border to the upper rim, in addition to a detailed star design to the well.
The cut glass body of the mustard pot is encircled with arched segments of hobnail decoration.
