This exceptional antique 900 standard silver German cigarette case has a plain rectangular form with rounded corners.

The anterior cover is ornamented to one end with an exceptional hot enamel design depicting a gentleman riding a horse, jumping over a stone wall amidst a grassy terrain.

The posterior cover and rounded sides are plain and unembellished.

This antique cigarette case is fitted with a plain rounded thumbpiece and push fit catch, which when released reveals two hinged compartments.

This impressive example of antique silverware retains the original gilt interior.

This antique German cigarette case is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

The enamel is in perfect condition.

The original gilding to the interior has some wear in keeping with age.
