This exceptional and large antique cast sterling silver creamer has been realistically modelled in the form of a cow.

The plain body of this antique silver creamer is embellished with details reproducing the fine definition of the cow's facial and anatomical features.

The jug is fitted with a hinged cover surmounted with an impressive applied finial realistically modelled in the form of a fly.

This impressive German silver cow creamer is fitted with a loop handle, modelled in the form of the cow's tail.

The German and import hallmarks struck to the underside of this impressive jug include:

Maker's mark: n (B. Neresheimer & Söhne, Hanau)

Importer's mark: BM (B Muller & Son (Berthold Muller))

Silver quality/purity mark: Lion passant (.925 sterling, 925/1000)
