Description


This exceptional George IV Newcastle sterling silver soup ladle has been crafted in the Fiddle pattern.


The surface of the handle is plain and unembellished.


This fine example of George IV flatware has a plain rounded bowl.


The reverse of the ladle features a rounded heel to the bowl and a pip to the handle terminal.


Date: 1821

Condition


This antique silver soup ladle is a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent condition in keeping with age.

There is minor surface wear as to be expected, in keeping with age and use.

Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of the handle are all clear in keeping with age and location.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of antique dining silverware.
