Description


These exceptional antique George III Newcastle sterling silver serving spoons have been crafted in the Old English pattern.


The anterior surface of each spoon handle terminal is embellished with contemporary bright cut engraved initial and the date '1792'.


The reverse surface incorporates a pip to the terminal and a rounded heel to the bowl.


These exceptional Newcastle silver spoons were crafted by the renowned and collectable silversmiths John Langlands I & John Robertson I.

Condition


These antique silver table spoons are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The bright cut engraved initials are crisp in keeping with age

Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of each handle are all very clear.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these examples of Georgian silverware.
