This exceptional antique George II sterling silver sauceboat has a plain oval rounded form onto three feet.


The surface of this Isaac Cookson silver sauceboat is plain and unembellished.


The sauceboat is fitted with an impressive elevated cast sterling silver handle modelled in the form of an antique dolphin / mystical fish.


This impressive example of antique silverware is supported by three impressive cast and applied paw style feet accented with impressive lion mask designs in junction with the body.


This exceptional silver sauceboat, crafted by the renowned Newcastle silversmiths Isaac Cookson, is a superior gauge of silver as to be expected by this maker.
