These exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver salad servers have a plain shell shaped bowl onto a waisted shaft.

The anterior and reverse surface of each piece is plain and unembellished.

The bowl of the serving fork incorporates six shaped tines.

These exceptional sterling silver salad servers are fitted with impressive cut glass handles with fluted ornamentation to the waisted portion and a lozenge/trellis design to the bulbous handpiece.

The hallmarked sterling silver ferrule of each server is encircled with bands of gadroon decoration.

Date: 1891

These antique salad servers are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

There are a few minor abrasions to the glass handles, in keeping with age; this does not affect their integrity or aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Full hallmarks struck to the reverse surface of both servers and part hallmarks to each ferrule are all very clear.

Reflections in photography may detract from the true representation of these pieces of Victorian silverware.
