This exceptional and rare pair of antique George III English sterling silver spoons have been crafted in the Hourglass pattern.


The anterior and posterior surfaces of the handle is embellished with the classic King's shape ornamentation, including the shell design to the terminal, in addition to the central hourglass design; this hourglass device is the distinguishing feature of the pattern.


The anterior surface of each gravy spoon handle is embellished to the terminal with a contemporary bright cut engraved crest of out of a coronet a stag guardant.


The reverse of each silver gravy spoon features a shell ornamentation to the heel of the rounded bowl.


This exceptional pair of spoons has been crafted in a subtly longer form than typically located, by the renowned and collectable London silversmith Paul Storr; each piece reflects the quality and gauge expected from this maker.

These antique Georgian silver serving spoons are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of each handle are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
