Description

This fine and impressive antique ruby and pearl ring has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold.

The circular ring mount displays a central natural pearl flanked horizontally and vertically by four further natural pearls.

The design is accented with four pavé set natural rubies displayed obliquely within the setting.

The 18 ct yellow gold ring shank has a multi-strand groove decorated design which flares and divides at the shoulders.

The middle of the three strands of the shank is ornamented with applied ball decoration.

The ring is clearly hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the gold guarantee mark (crown), the 18 ct gold fineness mark (18), the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (anchor) and the date letter for 1871 (W).

This impressive Victorian dress ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.

Date: 1871

Condition

This pearl and ruby ring is fine quality set with natural pearls and natural rubies.

The ring is an exceptional gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with a very clear set of English hallmarks struck deeply to the interior of the ring shank.
