Description

This stunning, fine and impressive antique brooch has been crafted in 9ct yellow gold with a silver setting.

The brooch has been modelled in the form of a hummingbird.

The eye of the hummingbird is represented by a 9ct yellow gold collet set cabochon cut 0.02ct ruby.

The silver setting is embellished with a total of sixty-five pavé set Dutch cut diamonds.

The hummingbird is perched upon a horizontal 9ct yellow gold bar, ornamented with a 6.62mm natural pearl terminal.

The pearl is flanked to the left with a dingle silver set Dutch cut diamond.

The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp fastening.

The bird brooch is fitted to the original blue leatherette and velvet, satin lined presentation case bearing the retailer's name to the lid interior 'JAYS Oxford Street London, Diamond Merchants Est 1796'.

This antique bird brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9ct gold and silver.

Thie brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
