This exceptional antique Russian silver and enamel tray has a rectangular rounded form.
The surface of the antique tray is embellished with fine and impressive cloisonné stemmed scrolling foliate and floral designs using various tones of blue and green accented with red and white highlights.
The ornamentation incorporates a central plain circular vacant cartouche.
The surface of the tray is encompassed with a paralleling band of blue enamel to the lower portion of the raised rounded border.
The aforementioned border is embellished with further scrolling leaf and floral designs accented with a band of blue enamel circular motifs to the rim.
The enamel segments are encompassed with applied silver paralleling rope twist ornamentation.
The anterior and posterior surfaces of this Russian silver tray retain the original gilding.

City mark: St Petersburg**
