SOLD - 0.62 ct Emerald and 0.38 ct Diamond, 18 ct White Gold Ring - Vintage Circa 1940

This impressive 1940s ring has been crafted in 18 ct white gold.

The pierced decorated setting displays two central, vertically displayed old European round cut diamonds, flanked on either side by a collet set, oval cut emerald.

The vintage ring is further embellished with two old European round cut diamonds, collet set at either side of the feature emeralds.

The subtly flared ring shoulders blend seamlessly with the plain 18 ct white gold, hallmarked ring shank.

This emerald and diamond cocktail ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."

Reference: The Connoisseur’s Guide to Precious Gemstones, R.Wise, Brunswick House Press.

This vintage dress ring is fine quality, set with impressive natural emeralds and very high colour graded old cut diamonds.

The dress ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition. Hallmarks, 18 ct gold mark (750), struck to the inner shank are very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine piece of 1940s jewellery/jewelry.
