Description


This fine double longuard chain has been handcrafted in an exceptional gauge of 10 ct yellow gold.


The exceptionally large, oval, faceted, fancy button links are displayed alternately between faceted round links.


The one hundred and thirty-seven button links are embellished with a simplified counter-relief floral design bordered by four small circular depressions.


This long and impressive longuard chain also retains the associated chased decorated circular ring loop attachment.


The chain may be worn with a pendant or pocket watch if so desired


This 1880's chain secures with a large swivel link clasp which is clearly marked with the maker's mark E&D.


The button link closest to the clasp is stamped with the 10 ct mark.


Condition


This substantial chain is an exceptional gauge of gold, fine quality and in excellent condition.

The decoration to each button link remains bold and clear.
