This exceptional, fine and impressive antique pendant has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold.

The pendant displays a feature hand painted miniature portrait depicting a young lady in period dress with a winged cherub looking over her shoulder, his 'arrow of love' crossing her pen, potentially influencing the content of her letter.

The delicately painted miniature portrait is displayed within a rope twist decorated 18 ct yellow gold frame.

The reverse of this exceptional  Victorian pendant is plain and unembellished.

The pendant is suspended from a 18 ct yellow gold small belcher chain via a flared, rope twist and bead decorated integrated ring loop attachment.

The 71.12cm/28" small belcher chain secures to the reverse with a push fit clasp.

This antique 1890's miniature portrait pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 ct  gold.


This exceptional and original antique pendant is exceptional quality displaying an impressive hand painted miniature portrait.

The pendant is a very good gauge of gold and in excellent condition.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of Victorian jewellery/estate jewelry.
