This fine antique Chinese export silver (CES) photograph frame has a rectangular shaped form.

The surface of this Chinese photo frame is embellished with embossed and chased decoration depicting a tree peony accented with flying birds to each corner in addition to a central crane style bird standing on one leg.

The decoration to the frame incorporates two oval internal ‘windows’ encompassed with bead decorated borders.

The body of the frame features an iconic Chinese style border realistically modelled in relief in the form of bamboo stalks.

This antique photograph frame is fitted with a hinged strut and wood back.

This impressive example of antique CES is inset with a removable glass panel.

The hallmarks to the reverse surface of this impressive frame include:
