Description


This fine Danish sterling silver tumbler cup has a plain circular rounded form.


The surface of this fine example of antique silverware is plain and unembellished.


This impressive drinking vessel is fitted with two shaped, scrolling subdivided handles ornamented with a ball motif to the incurve, all in the Arts and Crafts style.


The hallmarks struck to the underside of this two-handled tumbler cup include:

Maker’s mark: Georg Jensen (this mark was used between 1933-1944)

Country mark: Denmark

Silver quality/purity mark: Sterling, 925S (925/1000)

Registration number: 373 A


Condition


This antique silver cup is a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent presentation condition.

The Danish hallmarks struck to the underside of the vessel are all very clear.
