Description


This exceptional antique German sterling silver and glass vase has a ovoid rounded, faceted form.


The cylindrical neck is fitted with an impressive plain, flared sterling silver hallmarked mount.


The large glass body of the vase is encompassed with vertical incurved fluted style faceted decoration.


The hallmarks struck to the large mount include:

Silver quality/purity mark: Sterling Silver (.925, 925/1000)

Maker's mark: Lion rampant icon (E.L.Vietor)


Condition


The mount of this antique vase is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

The glass body of the vase is exceptional quality and in perfect condition.

The German hallmarks struck to the surface of the mount are all very clear.
