These exceptional antique German cast sterling silver table ornaments have been realistically modelled in the form of a pair of fighting cockerels / roosters.

Each of the silver fighting cocks has been embellished with cast details reproducing the plumage and facial features.

The hallmarks struck to the underside of each cock's tail feathers include:

Hanau marks: Untraced
