These exceptional antique sterling silver sauce tureens have a rounded rectangular form onto a spreading domed foot.

These George IV sauce tureens are embellished with applied acanthus leaf and shell decorated borders.

The Regency style sauce tureens retain the original hallmarked push fit covers.

Both covers are surmounted by the fine and original hallmarked detachable finials realistically modelled in the form of a unicorn's head.

These exceptional sauce tureens are both fitted with a fine pair of chased shell and acanthus leaf decorated handles.

These Antique sauce tureens have been made by the renowned London Silversmiths Rebecca Emes and Edward Barnard I.

Date: 1824

These antique sauce tureens are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

The decoration is very sharp.

Full hallmarks are struck to the surface and part hallmarks are struck to the cover and finial of both tureens.

The hallmarks are clear, however, those struck to the surface are slightly rubbed as would be expected in keeping with age and their position.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these items.
