The fundamental pieces of this straight* service have been crafted by the renowned London flatware maker William Chawner II in 1831, apart from the knives which are replacements**, crafted by H Fisher & Co. in 1971.

These impressive examples of antique silverware are supplied in felt cutlery rolls; which not only protect the items in storage but significantly reduces tarnishing.

This canteen of cutlery can be purchased without the knives if so desired, for further information please contact Andrew Campbell directly at enquiries@acsilver.co.uk.

* "Straight" means all the pieces are made by the same maker in the same year.

**Predominately all antique silver canteens have replacement knives as the originals have not stood the test of time.

Date: 1831

The pieces of this impressive antique canteen of cutlery are an exceptional gauge of silver, excellent quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

The decoration to each item of cutlery is very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of each piece and to the surface of each knife are all very clear.
