This fine early George II sterling silver coffee pot has a plain tapering cylindrical form with a subtly flared moulded base.

The plain body of this Georgian silver coffee pot is embellished with a contemporary engraved coat of arms to one side.

This impressive example of antique teaware is fitted with a domed hinged cover surmounted with a silver acorn style finial.

The coffee pot is fitted with an opposing scroll style carved pear wood handle with scrolling thumbpiece and fitted to plain sterling silver sockets.

The coffee pot has an impressive spout with plain applied moulded ornamentation to the socket and the lip.

This antique Georgian silver coffee pot is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition, in keeping with its age.

The interior of the coffee pot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the base are clear.

Reflections in photography may detract from the true representation of this piece of Georgian silverware.
