* The Tudor rose, also known as the Union rose, is a traditional heraldic emblem pertaining to England. The conjoined design of the red rose (House of Lancaster) with the white rose (House of York) to the centre was created by Henry VII in the late 15th century as unification of the two houses after his marriage to Elizabeth of York.

** This addition mark was used by Ramsden after the partnership of Ramsden & Carr, with Alwyn Carr, ended in 1919.
