This exceptional set of antique George V sterling silver napkin rings consists of six napkin rings, each with an circular form.

The surface of each napkin ring is encircled with impressive bright cut engraved bordered simplified floral motifs incorporating a shaped vacant cartouche to one side.

The upper and lower rim of each ring is encompassed with an applied thread decorated border.

This fine set of antique napkin rings is fitted to an impressive hinged leatherette presentation box, with a velvet and satin lined interior, securing with a push fit catch.

Date: 1918


These antique napkin rings are a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent condition.

The bright cut engraved border of each cartouche has wear in keeping with age.

The box has some wear to the interior in keeping with age and can be considered to be in presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of each napkin ring are all very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these examples of antique silverware.
