This fine antique Victorian sterling silver photograph frame has a rectangular form with a domed upper portion.

The photo frame is embellished with impressive embossed fluted decoration accented with bead ornamentation, all in a swirl design; each alternating flute terminates with a toroid motif.

The ornamentation to the surface of the frame emanates from a plain heart shaped internal window encompassed with a plain embossed bead and spindle decorated border.

The shaped upper border of the frame incorporates an oval vacant cartouche.

This impressive silver frame retains the original oak wood back and hinged strut, secured with two swivel catches.

This fine Victorian piece is inset with a removable glass panel.

This antique silver photo frame is an exceptional gauge of silver for its type, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The oak wood back of the frame is in exceptional condition.

The embossed decoration is very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the photograph frame are all very clear.
