Description


This fine antique George V sterling silver presentation bowl/trophy has a rounded quaich style form to a cylindrical pedestal onto a circular spreading foot.


The body of the bowl is plain and unembellished.


This impressive presentation bowl is fitted with two plain incurved quaich style handles.


This fine example of antique silverware retains the original turned oak wood plinth, encircled with a contemporary sterling silver vacant inscription band; the band may be engraved with a personal inscription if so desired.


The plinth retains the original leatherette covering to the underside.


Date: 1925

Condition


This antique presentation bowl is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in excellent condition.

There is a loss of the inset button to the upper plateau of the oak plinth.

The bowl has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the body are all very clear, in keeping with age and location.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of antique silverware.
