These antique Victorian sterling silver salts have a scallop shell shaped form.

A ribbed scrolling ornamentation to one side of each salt represents what would be the umbo of the natural shell.

These pieces of antique silverware are supported by three fine and impressive feet modelled in the form of dolphins/mystical fish.

Date: 1876

These antique salts are a very good gauge of silver, very good quality and in excellent presentation condition.

The ornamentation is very sharp to each.

Full hallmarks struck to the interior surface of each salt are very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these pieces of Victorian silverware.

Length 5.9cm/2.4"

Width 5.3cm/2.1”

Height 3.8cm/1.4"
