This fine antique Edwardian sterling silver spirit kettle has a plain oval rounded form onto a collet foot.

The surface of the body is embellished with a bright cut engraved crest of issuant from a tower a hand brandishing a scimitar fessways.

The shoulders are ornamented with an impressive applied gadroon style border to the edge of the rim.

This antique kettle is fitted with a plain domed hinged hallmarked cover which retains the original plain painted wood and sterling silver finial.

This fine example of antique teaware is fitted with an impressive scrolling handle featuring the original carved painted wood handpiece in addition to stylised leaf decorated sockets.

This impressive silver spirit kettle is fitted with a plain swan necked spout.

The kettle detaches from the original hallmarked sterling silver pierced decorated stand, supported by four impressive opposing scroll decorated legs.

The stand is encircled with an impressive border reflecting that of the shoulders to the kettle.

The stand incorporates a plain frame which retains the original hallmarked detachable spirit burner.

The spirit burner is fitted with a hallmarked hinged cover surmounted by a plain sterling silver finial.

The kettle stand is fitted with the original chains and hallmarked security pegs.

This antique spirit kettle is an exceptional gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

The kettle has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

The bright cut engraved decoration is very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the kettle show signs of wear in keeping with age and location.

The full hallmarks to the underside of the spirit burner and part hallmarks to the spirit burner cover, interior of the kettle cover, surface of the stand and each peg are all very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of Edwardian silverware.
