This fine vintage Elizabeth II sterling silver tea caddy has a spherical form replicating the style of a classic fish bowl.

The overall surface of the caddy has a very subtly planished finish.

The body of the caddy is ornamented with fine and impressive engraved gilded fantail and veiltail goldfish swimming amidst darker coloured reeds.

The caddy is fitted with the original hallmarked push fit domed cover surmounted by an impressive gilded finial realistically modelled in the form of two fish with interlacing tails.

This impressive vintage caddy is supported by a collet style base with three integrated shaped feet embellished with a paralleling gilded border to the rim.

Date: 1989

This vintage tea caddy is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The engraved decoration is all very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside and part hallmarks to the cover are all very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of vintage silverware.

There may be some colour difference between the images and video due to recording anomalies outside our control. The images provide a more accurate reproduction of the actual colours.
