Description


This exceptional antique George V sterling silver teapot has a plain oval tapering form.


The surface of this teapot is plain and unembellished.


This antique teapot is fitted with the original hinged hallmarked cover surmounted with a sterling silver ball style finial.


This exceptional teapot retains the original S shaped handle with a plain thumbpiece, in addition to pierced ventilation holes; these holes are a diverse variation to the traditional resistors, allowing the handle to remain cool.


This fine example of antique silverware has an impressive plain swan necked spout.


The underside of this teapot bears the retailer's mark 'Kemp Bros, Union St, Bristol'.


Date: 1932

This antique teapot is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

The interior of the teapot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the surface of the body and part hallmarks to the interior of the cover are all very clear.
