Description


This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver teapot has an unusual plain pumpkin style form.


The surface of the subtly incurved panelled body is plain and unembellished.


This fine example of antique silverware is fitted with the original hallmarked hinged domed cover and retains the impressive original hallmarked sterling silver berry and foliate finial.


The teapot is fitted with the original C shaped pear wood handle with plain waisted sterling silver sockets.


This impressive teapot has a plain cylindrical shaped swan necked spout.


Date: 1842

Condition


This antique teapot is an exceptional gauge of silver and exceptional quality.

The teapot is in exceptional presentation condition, in keeping with age.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside and part hallmarks to the cover are all very clear.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of Victorian silverware.
