This fine antique Edward VIII sterling silver teapot has a circular plain panelled form in the Art Deco style onto a decagonal collet style foot.

The upper border of the teapot is embellished with an applied band incorporating a repetitive, undulating design.

This fine teapot is fitted with a hinged hallmarked domed panelled cover surmounted by an impressive circular, stepped Art Deco style painted wood, silver topped finial.

This fine example of antique silverware has an impressive angular stepped painted wood handle with stepped sterling silver sockets in the iconic Art Deco style.

This teapot is fitted with a plain panelled swan necked spout.

The underside bears the retailer’s mark of ‘Walker and Hall, Sheffield’ along with an inscription of the teapot’s capacity, 1 1/2 pints.

Date: 1936


The antique teapot is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

This fine example of teaware has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

The applied decoration is very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface and part hallmarks to the cover are all very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this example antique teaware.
